Extended Hours Access
The PCN is dedicated to making healthcare accessible to all. We understand that our patients lead busy lives with commitments such as work. We therefore have welcomed and embraced the opportunity to offer our patients greater levels of access to healthcare.
Weekend appointments
Extended hours access includes a number of appointments available for our patients on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
These are held at:
Saturday morning – Dinnington New Street.
Sunday morning – Broom Lane Medical Centre.
Evening appointments
Appointments are available for our patients to book on weekday evenings from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.
These are held at:
Valley Health Centre, Dalton.
Highthorn Road, Kilnhurst.
Broom Lane Medical Centre, Rotherham.
How to book
To book an extended hours appointment please contact your GP practice reception team.
We offer the extended hours appointments as a collaborative approach across Rotherham along with other GP surgeries.
It is important to note that:
- Appointments are not held at each of the practices.
- You will need to make your own arrangements for travel to your appointment.
- These appointments are for routine care only and so are bookable only in advance and not on the day.
- Locum doctors operate these surgeries, so you are not able to request to see a specific doctor.
